Job summary

Child Development Schools in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support early childhood learning in a warm, collaborative classroom. You will work with the Lead Teacher to deliver engaging activities, foster curiosity, and create a safe environment where children feel supported and excited to learn.

You will help with documentation, communicate with families, and contribute to a team committed to nurturing growth, safety, and joy in daily learning experiences.

Assistant Teacher -- Raleigh, North Carolina

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands‑on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
