Job Description

Monarch Montessori School is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Montessori School (ages 1-6 years). Responsibilities include playing with children, assisting with potty training, cleaning up, supporting teachers, substituting when needed, supervising children to ensure safety, respecting children, promoting independence, assisting with eating and self-care, facilitating art activities, and encouraging outdoor exploration. A positive attitude and love for children are essential. Candidates must have CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in education and learn about the Montessori Philosophy. Prior classroom experience with children is required. Hours are from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
