Job summary

Clayton Early Childhood Center is seeking full-time Teacher Assistants to support classroom teams in Oak Knoll Park, operating 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. The role emphasizes safety, child-centered activities, and collaboration with Lead Teachers.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, basic tech skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, with required background checks and TB/physical tests. Nice-to-have certifications include CPR/First Aid and CDA or ECE degree.

Qualifications

About This Role

Clayton Early Childhood Center is seeking an educator with experience and passion for the education of young children. Our preschool classrooms have between 14-18 children enrolled and we are seeking full-time educators to support the classroom team.

Teacher Assistants collaborate with Lead Teachers to implement developmentally appropriate activities based on children’s interests and needs, help maintain proper supervision and ratio, and build strong relationships with students in their care. Teacher Assistants are an intricate part of the classroom, ensuring children are safe and receiving high-quality early childhood services.

Clayton Early Childhood Center, located in Oak Knoll Park and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

• Engage in active supervision to ensure the safety of all children
