Job summary

Child Development Schools in Maumelle, AR is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our caring early childhood team. You will assist the Lead Teacher to create a warm, discovery-filled classroom where children feel safe and excited to learn.

Your daily role includes hands-on activities, storytelling, and fostering curiosity and kindness in young learners. Pay ranges from $10 to $12.75 per hour, with full-time benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), holidays, PTO, tuition

Your role

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $10-$12.75 per hour, based on experience and education.
