enCircle is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Lynchburg, VA. This 225-day position requires driving and a clean driving record. The role supports student instruction and behavioral needs in a private day-school setting for students with special needs.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; driving is a condition of employment. Competitive pay starts at $16.40 per hour with benefits including health coverage, a 401(k) with match, and daily wage options.

Competenze

• High School diploma/GED with minimum of one year’s experience in working with students who receive special education services, mental health and/or other direct services.
• Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office.
• Valid Virginia Driver's License and proof of insurance if assigned driver.
• Satisfactory Driving Record.
• 225 day position.
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8:00AM-4:00PM.
• DRIVING SPECIFIC: no disqualifying violations in last 5 years.

Our Assistant Teacheris primarily responsible for assisting with student instruction and behavioral supports in the Minnick Schools – a system of private day schools for students with special needs. We are looking for motivated individuals that desire to affect positive change in young people’s lives through daily classroom and community-based instruction. This is a 225 day school calendar position.

Please note: This role requires driving, therefore a "clean driving record" is critical.
