Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring Assistant Teachers in Glen Carbon, IL to join a caring team that supports children and families. You will follow licensing guidelines, help create a fun, safe classroom, and engage with families to share observations and progress.

Qualifications

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop ability to observe, assess, and plan for children, and effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily care of children and maintain a fun, clean, organized classroom.
• Engage with children and families, observing and communicating progress.
• Support learning activities and transitions throughout the day.

Assistant Teachers:

• Love to help! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.Maintain a fun,interactive classroom that is clean and organized.

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $17.25 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
