Job summary

Learning Care in Maryland is hiring Assistant Teachers to join a caring team dedicated to children and families. Follow licensing guidelines, maintain a fun, organized classroom, and support daily care.

Develop your ability to observe, assess, and plan for children, communicate with families, and complete training on childcare and child development topics. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Assistant Teachers:

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $18.18-$18.89 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
