Job summary

La Petite Academy in Cary, NC is hiring Assistant Teachers to support daily child care, follow licensing standards, and engage children in a fun, educational environment.

You will observe and assess children's development, plan activities, and communicate with families, while receiving extensive training in childcare and child development.

Qualifications

• Meet state/accreditation education and experience requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
