Oak Hill is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Assistant Teacher I (ATI) to provide hands-on classroom support to individuals with Developmental and other Disabilities. This person will inspire others and make a life changing impact while achieving professional growth and personal fulfillment. The Assistant Teacher at Oak Hill’s Bristol Classroom works35hours/week, Monday through Friday 8a-3p.The AT provides support to Special Education Teachers in the classroom, preparing lessons, teaching students, providing direct support assistance. The AT will assist with behavior management during lessons, tracking students’ behavior and setting up classroom materials before class as assigned. Applicants with no experience and interested in entering the education or direct care field with a desire to serve people with disabilities, or individuals seeking a career change are encouraged to apply to this position.
