Job summary

Kiddie Round-Up Inc. seeks a PreK 3 Teacher Assistant to join our teaching team at two Austin campuses: Harmony Science Academy, 930 E Rundberg Ln, and Harmony School of Innovation, 2100 E St Elmo Rd, Austin, TX 78753. This is a PreK partnership with Early Childhood Learning Center and a Public School District.

You will help implement daily lessons, supervise activities, communicate with families, and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment that supports early learning and social development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or CDA; or degree in early childhood education preferred.
• Previous experience with preschool-aged children is a plus.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Background check clearance required.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate classroom needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and group activities.
• Support classroom management and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Help with the preparation of educational materials and resources.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social and emotional development.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including record keeping and organization.
