The Assistant Teacher also models best practices for Early Childhood Education candidates and participates in professional development.

Highlights

• Plan and coordinate activities to meet children's developmental and educational needs.
• Take full responsibility for the classroom 2 hours per day and during the absence of the Assistant Professor.
• Collaborate with and support the Assistant Professor of Instruction in documentation, family conferences, and other classroom needs.
• Complete required licensing training and ongoing professional development.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and less than 3 years of related professional experience or equivalent.
• Preferred experience with Reggio Emilia inspired work, emergent curriculum, and nature-based education.
• Works under close supervision with no direct supervisory responsibility but may assist in training student employees.
• Full-time position; Pay range is $14.65-$22.71 per hour, non-exempt status.
