Job description

GAI Consultants is seeking an Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager to join our talented and energetic Talent Acquisition team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing candidates for requisitions and building talent pipelines using their professional experience and network.

This individual will work closely with business leadership to understand hiring needs and develop targeted sourcing plans. The role focuses on planning, engineering, and environmental consulting talent. The position offers an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base pay, with the possibility of remote work or from GAI's offices in the Southwestern United States.

Essential Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Utilizing industry knowledge, social media, and mission-focused insights to identify potential candidates, especially from peer/competitor companies, and bringing them to GAI.
  • Researching market conditions and industry trends related to competitors to inform decision-making and marketing strategies.
  • Sourcing candidates through professional networks, LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, search engines, and niche job boards.
  • Using online forums and social networking platforms to promote GAI's employer brand and establish positive relationships.
  • Recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates to meet current and future staffing needs.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand needs and develop solutions for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Maintaining data integrity in the candidate management database.
  • Conducting extensive social media data mining to identify candidate profiles.
  • Traveling domestically up to 15% to support events and business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in social digital recruiting and sourcing, with at least 5 years using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools, and experience in research and sourcing strategies for critical roles.
