Job summary

Spirit Halloween is seeking an Assistant in Talent Acquisition to support sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and candidate experience. You will partner with the Talent Acquisition team to build pipelines for corporate, intern, and temporary roles.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years in talent acquisition or HR, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent organization and communication abilities to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Human Resources, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing and talent pipeline development for corporate, intern, and temporary positions.
• Utilize LinkedIn, job boards, and other sourcing tools to identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective candidates.
• Conduct candidate phone screens and assist with candidate evaluation activities for designated positions.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, including candidate communication and travel arrangements when applicable.
• Facilitate reference checks and support the timely completion of pre-employment requirements.
• Manage onboarding activities for full-time, intern, and temporary hires.
• Coordinate system access, equipment requests, and other onboarding requirements for new hires.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires throughout the pre-employment and onboarding process to ensure a positive experience.
• Monitor and facilitate the completion of onboarding paperwork and employment documentation.
• Partner with Learning & Development and other internal stakeholders to support new hire orientation and readiness initiatives.
• Assist with campus recruiting and internship program logistics, including maintaining supplies and coordinating materials as needed.
• Represent the company at professional networking and college recruiting events as a brand ambassador.
• Serve as backup support for the Senior Administrator to ensure continuity of Talent Acquisition operations

Responsibilities

The Assistant, Talent Acquisition provides recruiting and onboarding support while helping deliver an exceptional candidate experience. The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
