Small Fish Big Fish Swim School is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach students of all ages in a positive, encouraging environment. No prior teaching experience is required; paid training is provided to help you become a confident instructor.

You will lead lessons, promote water safety, track student progress, and support a fun, active team. The role offers a flexible schedule with afternoon shifts and opportunities for advancement within a supportive company.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Small Fish Big Fish Swim School teaching philosophy and training methods.
• Demonstrate and assist students with proper swimming techniques, including safely lifting and supporting young swimmers when needed.
• Promote water safety and help prevent accidents by maintaining a safe, supervised environment.
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and families.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pool facility.
• Assist with special events, community outreach, and water safety education.

Schedule Requirements

Qualified applicants must be available to work:

• A minimum of two weekday shifts (3:45 PM - 7:30 PM)


• A minimum of one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday, 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Your schedule remains consistent from week to week, making it easy to plan around school or other commitments.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting pay: $15.00 per hour, based on qualifications, following paid training.
