The Assistant Supervisor provides direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supports staff to ensure the smooth, safe, and compliant operation of the achievement center.

We seek someone with experience in direct care and management who is looking to develop their skills and career.

Position: Full-time, non-exempt, typically Monday – Friday, daytime hours.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; B.A./B.S. in a Human Service-related field preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Valid driver’s license with 5 points or less, acceptable to our insurance
• Proficient in basic computer skills, math, reading, and communication
• At least 2 years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Successful background checks including fingerprinting and drug screens

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks including lifting (at least 50 lbs.), transferring, pushing, pulling, bending, and stairs
