YAI is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to lead a residential program in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY. The role focuses on supervision, staff training, and ensuring quality care in an interdisciplinary setting with ongoing support and training.
The ideal candidate will have experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining NYS regulatory compliance.
We are currently seeking a high energy, self-starting individual to supervise a Residential IRA in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York. A person's managerial and clinical skills will be maximized in an interdisciplinary team environment, where there is ongoing support and training.
The Residential Assistant Supervisor is responsible for providing staff training, mentoring, and supervision of 5-15 direct reports. The Assistant Supervisor will need to be able to provide program oversight, quality assurance, maintain NYS regulations, oversee clinical programming, be an advocate for the people we support, and be a liaison with families.
The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for working directly with people of all ages with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), creating new opportunities for Living, Loving, Working, and Learning.
