Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an on-site Construction Project Coordinator in Dallas, TX to support the Superintendent and project team with coordination, safety, and stakeholder management. You will manage subcontractor schedules, track costs, and maintain project documentation on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with clients and suppliers, and ensuring quality control and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
• 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Drafting, Surveying, Total Station, or CAD experience a plus.
• Confined Space Awareness, Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR/AED preferred.
• Ability to work field hours 7am–3:30pm or office hours 8am–5pm, with extra hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent and project team with on-site coordination
• Ensure employee safety and project housekeeping
• Develop and manage relationships with clients, architects, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Assist in scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and material deliveries
• Report accidents to the Safety Team in a timely manner
• Notify the Superintendent of labor and material needs
• Keep daily time records of hours worked
• Create and maintain daily job reports
• Review shop drawings for contract conformance and field dimensions
• Maintain jobsite record-set drawings
• Take and maintain jobsite progress photographs
• Assist in obtaining and tracking necessary city inspections
• Assist in obtaining and terminating temporary utility requests
• Prepare jobsite meetings, including scheduling, coordination, and agenda creation
• Complete punch list items
• Perform weekly review of job costs
• Maintain quality control
• Manage tool and equipment maintenance
• Assist the project team as required
• Complete assigned training requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction
• OSHA 30 certification
• Some college or work experience with Drafting, Surveying, Total Station, or CAD a plus
• Confine Space Awareness, Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR/AED certifications preferred
• Ability to work field hours of 7 am to 3:30 pm or office hours of 8 am to 5 pm, plus additional hours as required
• Must support on-site project coordination
• Must complete assigned training requirements
