Job summary

Caliber Company in Ankeny/Des Moines Metro is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Residential & Commercial projects. This full-time role supports premier projects and offers a clear growth path, with a salary range of $60k–$75k based on experience.

You will assist the Senior Superintendent, monitor job sites for safety and quality, coordinate with management, and help keep builds on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a construction-related role (commercial or residential preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, project documents, and site schedules.
• Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Superintendent in overseeing construction from groundbreaking to completion.
• Monitor daily site activities for safety and as-built accuracy.
• Perform hands-on site labor tasks and site maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized site to support trade partners.
• Coordinate with Project Management for onsite questions and follow-up.
