The Assistant in Training’s responsibilities are to support the Assistant Golf Course Superintendents with the supervision of the construction and maintenance of the course, along with the surrounding grounds. The primary responsibilities are supervising small groups of associates, chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation repair, hand watering, large equipment operation, and any other duties associated with the maintenance of the golf course. The Assistant in Training will be responsible for the department in the absence of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
