Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Assistant Superintendent to join our team for a $20M project in Athol, MA. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure successful completion of all construction projects in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Our client has been in business over 100 years with a great market reputation and full pipeline for 2025. This project is slated to last 1.5 years with more work in the area.

Description

Assistant Superintendent - Ground Up Construction - Athol

  • Assist the Superintendent with overall project management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitor project progress and ensure that work is completed according to schedule and budget
  • Conduct daily on-site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance
  • Communicate project status and updates to project team, stakeholders, and management
  • Assist in resolving project issues and conflicts as they arise
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, job site photos, and reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent

Profile

  • 2-5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and supervise a team of workers
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred but not required
