Century Country Club is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join a historically progressive club undergoing capital improvements and a 1924 renovation. The role offers hands-on development in agronomy, business operations and leadership with mentorship from a dedicated team.

You will be exposed to seminars, trade shows and professional development, and will contribute to turf health, equipment maintenance, and daily operations while advancing your golf-course management career.

Formación

• Experience on golf course, sports field, landscape or horticulture environment.
• Degree(s) preferred but not mandatory; strong passion for golf encouraged.
• Team player with willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Learn the culture, team, practices and daily operations to ensure a smooth transition.
• Work alongside mechanics in winter learning reel grinding/setting and equipment maintenance.
• Develop administrative skills in record keeping and inventory.
• Develop hand-watering skills on greens to produce firm, fast greens without compromising turf health.
• Assist in scouting for disease and insects, and calibrations/ applications of pesticides and fertilizers; maintain spraying equipment.

Educación

Certificate/Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred
