Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Superintendent - Civil Construction to join our Quad Cities team. This role supports the Superintendent in day-to-day field operations on industrial and infrastructure projects in Illinois.

You will read blueprints, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety, and keep schedules by planning work sequences. A strong leadership presence and ability to manage multiple trades are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction.
• Prev. supervisory/foreman role with multi-trade coordination preferred.
• Strong leadership and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent in overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring safety, schedule, and specs.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications to coordinate daily activities.
• Plan work sequences and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and crews to maintain momentum.
• Enforce safety protocols and company standards on site at all times.
