Job summary

TurfNet is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in West Palm Beach, FL to oversee day-to-day golf course operations and observe course conditions for the Superintendent. The role requires strong knowledge of irrigation, disease/pest management and fertilizer/chemical applications, and the ability to lead a large crew.

Location is on-site at 3100 North Congress, with full-time hours and benefits. Candidates should be prepared for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job description

We are looking for an Assistant Superintendent works with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the golf course. The Assistant Superintendent is expected to observe golf course conditions and make suggestions or observations known to the Golf Course Superintendent. This position works in all facets of golf course management. This position requires the ability to identify, disease, pest, and dry areas on the golf course. Applicants are expected to know how to operate and have a deep understanding of golf course sprayers/spraying. Applicant should also know how to calibrate fertilizer spreaders. Applicants should have an extensive knowledge in golf course irrigation and troubleshooting. Ideal candidates should have experience leading a large crew.
