Job summary

Consigli Construction 1 is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to assist with daily on-site management of construction activities on the project site. You will help administer the safety program and provide technical support on drawings and submittals.

Responsibilities include managing self-perform and subcontractor operations, assisting with reports and schedules, and participating in quality and safety programs while interfacing with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0-5 years of construction experience.
• Understands building plans and specifications.
• OSHA 30 required.

• Assist with daily reports, safety walks, quantity reports, and schedule updates.
• Understand the project schedule and critical path.
• Review and contribute to the short-term plan.
• Participate in the quality program through inspections and material verification.
• Interface with client, A-E representatives, other contractors, and building officials professionally.
• Support business development by leveraging contacts for project leads.
• Attend monthly superintendent meetings and periodic trainings.
• Develop skills to advance toward a Superintendent role.

Salary Range: $76,000 - $88,000

Reporting directly to the Superintendent and General Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will help with daily on-site management of construction activities on the project site.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Help administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Provides technical assistance on the project, interprets contract drawings and submittals.
• Manage select self-perform operations and subcontractor operations including safety, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Assist Superintendent and Project Manager with daily and weekly tasks including daily reports, daily safety walks, weekly quantity reports, and weekly schedule updates.
• Understand the project schedule and the critical path.
• Review and provide content for the short-term plan.
• Participate in the quality program including attending meetings, performing inspections, and verifying materials.
• Interface with client representatives, A-E representatives, other contractors, and various building officials in a professional manner when required.
• Participate in business development. Create Raving Fans on current projects. Utilize contacts to initiate leads for future projects.
• Participate in monthly superintendent's meetings, quarterly safety meetings, and periodic training sessions.
• Develop skills required to become a Superintendent and manage and control all aspects of a construction project.

Required Experience
