Job summary

Moss & Associates, a national construction firm, seeks an Assistant Superintendent in Oklahoma City to support planning, scheduling, and directing the construction of large-scale multi-family projects. You will work with the project team, communicate with subs, and ensure safety, quality control, and site security.

Bachelor’s in construction management or related field and 1–5 years’ experience on multi-family projects are required; strong leadership and computer proficiency are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate city inspections and maintain project site and company assets security.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety and quality programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss’AssistantSuperintendents work in concert with the project team to plan, schedule, organize and direct the construction of large-scale multi-family residential projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists the Superintendent in communicating with subcontractors and employees a consistent level of expectations and direction regarding schedules, coordinate city inspections, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, quality control and other performance standards

• Collaborates with Superintendent to ensure project site and company assets are secure

• Maintains a safe working environment at all timesby implementing safety and quality control programs

• Perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’sin construction management, engineering,or related discipline or relevant experience. A specialty in trades such as MEP or concrete can be helpful.

• 1 – 5 years’ experience on multi-family residential construction projects

• Exceptional ability to lead and manage others

• Initiative and problem-solving skills are a necessity

• Computer Proficiency
