Job summary

Pulice in McAllen, TX is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities and coordinate the workforce under the project Superintendent. You will schedule crews, ensure safety, and drive productivity across multiple activities.

The role emphasizes scheduling, equipment coordination, and document control, with opportunities to collaborate with utility companies and internal teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing construction activities and labor staff.
• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of tool and equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned project work and labor personnel to meet daily schedule.
• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work.
• Review daily work schedule with direct reports and update weekly schedule from project feedback.
• Complete company required or regulatory documents such as DRA, JHA, Weekly Jobsite Inspection sheet, timesheets, etc.
• Review and understand the project specifications to support job set up activities.
• Work with crews and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on job site.
• Coordinate with internal equipment team to ensure project work has appropriate equipment and material quantities.
• Forecast the work schedule to identify issues and provide scheduling recommendations.
• Support and promote safety and process controls regarding operating equipment, site safety and documentation.
• Supervise sub-contractor production and workforce regarding assigned project work.

How You Will Make An Impact

Who You Are

• 2+ years’ experience managing construction activities and labor staff.
