Job summary

CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Mariner Towers Apartments in Buffalo, NY.

The role supports the Superintendent in leading the maintenance team to keep the property safe, well-maintained, and residents satisfied. The position requires at least 3 years of maintenance experience, the ability to supervise a team, and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and various appliances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years full-time maintenance experience.
• Ability to supervise, teach, and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and various appliances.
• Willingness to perform tasks required and to learn and grow.
• Confident, positive attitude, good communications skills, and ability to interact with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in leading the Maintenance Team to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents.
• Maintain the physical condition of the entire property.
• Assist in leading and supervising the maintenance team.
• Maintain relationships with residents, suppliers, vendors, and professionals servicing the property.
• Diagnose and perform minor, major, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Handle inventory and supplies.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and safety protocols are established and met.
• Report to Superintendent and Regional Director of Maintenance.

Assistant Superintendent - Responsibilities:

• The Assistant Superintendent's primary duty is to assist the Superintendent in their duty by assisting in leading the Maintenance Team to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and team members by maintaining the physical integrity of the property.
