Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care, and recommend products and services. This temporary role supports a mentor stylist for the first months and focuses on guest service, performance, and learning new techniques.

After three months, the assistant may begin servicing guests independently while continuing training and professional development in a fast-paced salon environment.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required to perform services.
• Ability to perform haircuts, color, styling, and related services.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests and consult on hair care needs to recommend services and products.
• Assist mentors in delivering high quality hair services and grow client base.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and store policies while assisting with bookings.
• Support events and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
• Stay informed on trends, products, and techniques to educate guests.
