Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a temporary Assistant Stylist to engage with guests, assess hair care needs, and recommend products and services. You will be mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist for the first 3 months, then begin servicing guests of your own while focusing on guest service, productivity, and compliance with salon procedures.

The role requires a passion for the beauty industry, excellent guest service, and the willingness to learn new technical skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Willingness to learn additional technical skills and product knowledge.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to meeting store goals.
• Assist mentor stylist in sales and productivity goals (hair services and products).
• After training, perform hair services including design, cuts, color, styling, and extensions.
• Conduct product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to elevate guest experience.
