Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist in League City, TX. This temporary role focuses on guest consultations, product recommendations, and learning under Elite or Master Stylists during an initial training period.

You will support and later begin servicing guests, while developing skills in cutting, coloring, styling, and makeup applications, with an emphasis on guest experience and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup and brow services.
• Ability to demonstrate, recommend, and sell professional hair care and makeup products.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and help meet store goals for retail and service sales.
• Assist senior stylist with hair services and product recommendations.
• Support with appointments, client relations, and maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation.
• Participate in trainings and adhere to Ulta Beauty policies and dress code.
