Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness South Lyon is seeking an Assistant Studio Manager to help run daily operations, motivate the team, and deliver exceptional member experiences.

You will partner with the Studio Manager to implement marketing initiatives, manage staffing, and ensure safety and cleanliness while upholding Orangetheory standards.

This role offers paid training, growth opportunities, and a chance to lead a passionate fitness team.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience in sales, retail, or fitness environment preferred.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience with social media and Canva or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily studio operations to ensure smooth running.
• Support Studio Manager with marketing campaigns, events, and social media initiatives.
• Lead and motivate sales team to achieve membership goals and KPIs.
• Help manage staff schedules for peak hours and events.
• Provide exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment.
• Step in as a leader when Studio Manager is absent, supporting the team.
• Model a positive, professional attitude and set high staff standards.
• Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Assist with administrative tasks including reporting and member communications.

Assistant Studio Manager Responsibilities:

Are You Qualified?

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working in a sales, retail, or fitness environment (preferred)


• Experience in a customer facing role (preferred)


• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)


• Experience with social media and creative programs like Canva, etc. (preferred)
