Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Orlando is seeking an Assistant Structural Engineer to work under licensed professionals on a variety of projects. This role involves assisting in structural design, modifying production drawings, and performing field inspections. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related fields from an ABET accredited program and have strong communication and problem-solving skills. Prior experience and GPA preference apply.

Qualifications

• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge in standard structural engineering techniques.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the structural design of projects from the conceptual phase.
• Modify and review production drawings for various projects.
• Perform field inspections, measurements or calculations.
