Job summary

EōS Fitness in Richmond, Virginia is seeking an Assistant Stretch Manager dedicated to enhancing the member experience and driving fitness success. You will assist in onboarding and developing Stretch Trainers while maintaining club cleanliness and handling new member onboarding.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 1 year of fitness sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate clients. A passion for health and fitness is essential. The position offers an hourly rate of $15 plus commission opportunities.

Position Purpose

Assess members' needs to recommend customized mobility programs. Take ownership of the member experience and business objectives on weekends while preparing to manage the club.

Responsibilities

• Assist Stretch Director and Stretch Manager in onboarding and developing Stretch Trainers.
• Maintain club cleanliness.
• Handle new member onboarding.
• Collaborate with membership and Personal Training sales.
• Oversee building and equipment maintenance and safety.
• Show passion for fitness and mobility.
• Drive for success and a history of commitment.
• Track record of delivering results.
• Motivate clients.
• Achieve all daily targets for Assistant Stretch Manager shifts when Stretch Manager is absent (Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays).
• Develop Stretch Trainers through monthly Coaching Plans.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of fitness sales experience.
• Ability to work with membership sales and personal training teams.
• Constantly develop the skills of the Stretch Trainers through coaching.
• Takes ownership of results and adapts quickly to various situations.
• Excellent communication with members and teammates with a customer service mentality.
• Team player, organized, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality work.
• Available to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various shift times.
• Passion for health and fitness.

Requirements

• Successfully pass a background check.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Physically able to work in a gym setting, move about club floors, and lift more than 40 lbs.
• Ability to access and operate the company computer system and prepare documents.

Compensation

• Variable income opportunities including commission and bonus.
