We are seeking dedicated employees to ensure our customers have the best experience every time they visit a DTLR store.

Position Summary: The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, focusing on maximizing sales and profitability through merchandising, managing expenses and inventory, training staff, and providing outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the performance and quality of the retail store staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Model effective leadership to motivate the team toward store goals.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store personnel.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Help manage expenses and develop strategies to meet budget goals.
  • Monitor store operations to minimize shrinkage and address issues.
  • Maintain safety and business standards compliance.
  • Support employee training in sales and merchandising techniques.
  • Uphold customer service standards to ensure a friendly shopping environment.
  • Assist with merchandise inventory counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Note: Standard work week not to exceed 40 hours; flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum one (1) year of retail management experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong business knowledge and excellent English communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $18.49 to $20.49, with bonus opportunities. Full-time roles include benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
