Assistant Store Manager - Williamsburg, VA - closed on Sundays!

Join Spectrum Paint as an Assistant Store Manager in Williamsburg, VA. This full-time role offers a supportive environment where you'll assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensure customer satisfaction, meet sales targets, and maintain inventory.

Store Hours

Monday to Friday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Closed Sundays, with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
  • Support store operations including management, purchasing, and sales goals
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training staff
  • Help create staff schedules
  • Control expenses, manage inventory, and grow net contribution
  • Promote a positive, customer-focused work environment
  • Demonstrate product expertise
  • Open and close the store
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and orders, including color matching and tinting
  • Process transactions accurately
  • Make occasional deliveries using a company vehicle
  • Ensure high customer service standards and resolve issues efficiently
  • Perform miscellaneous store tasks such as stocking and cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous retail management experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
  • Basic computer and cash handling skills
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) a plus
  • High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
  • Flexible schedule, including occasional Saturdays
  • Ability to pass background and MVR checks
