Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager manages daily service, sales, and operational goals, leading a team to enhance customer relationships through TD’s model of convenience, advice, and personalized service. This role requires minimal supervision and decision-making authority over daily work on the teller line or platform.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team to achieve customer experience and performance goals.
  2. Oversee complex sales and advice activities, ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence.
  3. Deliver end-to-end financial advice, building customer trust and confidence.
  4. Maintain knowledge of local market trends to support advice and recommendations.
  5. Handle high-risk issues and ensure team coaching on advice strategies.
  6. Participate in community engagement and promote the TD brand.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years customer service or sales experience.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Notary License preferred; active NMLS registration required.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities

Focus on delivering excellent customer service, attracting and retaining clients, and ensuring operational compliance. Lead and develop a high-performing team while managing store operations efficiently.

Physical and Travel Requirements

Includes occasional domestic travel, frequent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting under 25 lbs. No international travel or climbing involved.
