Runnings has a career opportunity as an Assistant Store Manager at our Wabash retail location. The Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager in merchandising, sales, and management of the store. The role requires providing excellent customer service and working a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and rotating weekends/holidays.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00-$24.00, depending on experience.

  • Responsible for overall sales and expenses at the retail store.
  • Direct and coordinate product merchandising.
  • Prioritize the distribution of new merchandise.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Assist customers with purchases, returns, special orders, and complaints.
  • Collaborate with Retail Buyers to meet product needs.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed when handling merchandise.
  • Delegate authority to managerial staff as appropriate.
