We are seeking a business leader to join our retail store leadership team at The Trybe Southland.

As the Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in executing the brand vision, fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an engaging shopping experience that brings fun and joy to both parents and children.

You will collaborate closely with your Store Manager and Area Manager to promote a people-first culture, maximize sales growth, and advance your leadership career.

Responsibilities
  • Manage store operations to meet sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage
  • Motivate your team to achieve KPI and sales goals
  • Monitor sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly to identify successes and areas for improvement
  • Control wage costs according to targets and roster standards
  • Coach and mentor team members, supporting their development and succession planning
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S legislation and maintain safety standards
  • Develop structured rosters with two consecutive days off for better work-life balance
  • Enjoy a 50% discount across all brands for you and your family
  • After 12 months, receive an additional 4 days of 'Life Leave'
  • Participate in our referral program and help us build our team
Requirements
