Working with minimal supervision, the Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing best-in-class guest service: greeting guests, responding to questions, assisting with gaming needs, informing about promotions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  2. Supporting visual and operational store elements, sales initiatives, and guest relationships.
  3. Processing transactions accurately using POS systems and handling guest inquiries professionally.
  4. Training and supervising store associates, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  5. Scheduling staff, managing payroll, and ensuring store cleanliness and organization.
  6. Fulfilling Omni-Channel orders and managing inventory, loss prevention, and store assets.
  7. Maintaining store records, supervising tasks in the absence of the Store Manager, and adhering to all policies and procedures.

Qualifications include proof of legal work eligibility, at least 18 years old, high school diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s preferred), retail management experience (preferred), and knowledge of video games (preferred). Key skills involve excellent communication, customer service, team leadership, and operational abilities.

This position is full-time, with a seniority level of Mid-Senior, in the retail industry, focusing on sales and business development.
