The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program. Job Responsibilities

As our enthusiastic and hardworking ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with the Store Manager in daily store operations.
  • Managing store activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Providing coaching, training, and development to store employees.
  • Maintaining good customer, donor, and community relations; resolving complaints efficiently.
  • Communicating personnel issues with management and issuing disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Ensuring store standards, inventory levels, and merchandising are maintained.
  • Overseeing back room processing in absence of Store Manager.
  • Safeguarding cash and managing banking procedures.
  • Supporting safety measures and loss prevention.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
  • Experience with POS and cash handling.
  • Valid Driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule

Stores operate 7 days a week. Flexibility is required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
