Join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at DTLR, Inc.
Position Summary
The primary purpose of the Assistant Store Manager is to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, managing expenses and inventory, training and developing staff, human resources management, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality and performance of the retail store staff.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve store goals and training standards.
- Assist with recruitment, selection, training, and development of store personnel.
- Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to the Store Manager.
- Assist in expense management and develop strategies to meet budget goals.
- Monitor store operations to minimize shrink and address issues.
- Ensure operational compliance, safety, and business standards are maintained.
- Support training in selling and merchandising techniques.
- Uphold customer service standards to ensure a friendly environment.
- Assist with merchandise inventory counts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work a standard week not exceeding 40 hours with flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
Requires a minimum of one year in retail management.

- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
