Spencer's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to supervise guest services and assist the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. The role focuses on maximizing sales and profitability through staff development, expense control, and inventory management in line with company policies.

The position requires 18+ with prior retail/management experience and the physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. This is a full-time, on-site role at a Spencer's location.

Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.

The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Prior retail and or management experience is required.
