Job summary

SNIPES USA seeks an Assistant Manager to fully manage store staff and operations when the Store Manager is absent. You will uphold cleanliness, merchandising standards, and promotional setup, while ensuring accurate register procedures and sales execution.

You will drive sales, lead the team, and train associates, balancing customer service with operations to meet store targets and protect company assets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or Department a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required.
• Able to respond to store alarms as needed and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results, initiative and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist the Store Manager to ensure the store meets standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Set up sales/promotions with proper signing in a timely manner.
• Process register functions and ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Lead floor sets and merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
• Identify customer merchandise needs and ensure assortments meet these needs.
• Coordinate markdowns and transfers with the Store Manager.
• Drive sales and profitability by achieving store and individual goals.
• Communicate store goals and directives to team; monitor performance and training needs.
