Essential Function
Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Job Title: Assistant Manager

Primary Duties

  • Brand: Provides supervision and supports associates' daily goals to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensures brand standards are met, acts as main contact for customer issues, and analyzes store trends.
  • People: Engages, trains, and develops teams, recruits actively, identifies strengths and opportunities, and maintains positive relations. Communicates regularly with peers and supports diversity and inclusion.
  • Operations: Ensures execution of company processes, supports digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment, manages inventory, payroll, and store procedures, and follows company directives.
  • Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintains a safe environment, protects assets, ensures compliance with safety policies, and manages inventory and cash controls.

Knowledge, Skills/Abilities and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Preferred 3+ years retail/customer service experience
  • Preferred 1+ year management experience
  • Effective team leadership and communication skills
  • Flexible scheduling availability
  • Cosmetology license desirable but not required
