Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Clovis, NM seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading the team across daily retail operations.

You will assist in sales, scheduling, training, and ensuring safety and inventory controls while promoting a positive work environment. Must handle opening/closing and maintain service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to work 43 hours per week and varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, overtime).
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in driving sales and customer loyalty.
• Guide and support the store team and oversee operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and promptly resolve concerns.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and supervise cash handling.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling, and training of Team Members.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Review payroll and timesheets and help create weekly staff schedules.
