General Position Summary

• Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
• Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
• Provide consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance and offer feedback on strengths and opportunities, aligned with Company Objectives.
• Follow visual guidelines for proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Company Dress Code Policy.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive sales through customer service.
• Achieve or surpass individual sales targets.
• Evaluate and support team performance with documented feedback.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation adhere to guidelines.
• Maintain professional appearance per Dress Code Policy.

Control Expenses

• Protect company assets following retail policies.
• Assist in preparing store schedules for proper coverage and wage control.
• Manage inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and counting.
• Keep proper records as per policies and legal requirements.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
• Support and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Additional Duties

• Participate in training programs, set goals, and follow up regularly.
• Assist in recruiting and training staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safeguard inventory and funds.
• Perform duties of subordinates when needed.
• Communicate effectively at all levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to generate sales and minimize loss.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency with relevant software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hands overhead.
• Stand for up to 100% of work time.
• Ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above minimum wage based on experience, with additional bonuses and discounts. Exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location.
