General Description, Principles, Duties, and Responsibilities

Generate Sales

• Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
• Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual sales statistics.
• Provide consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and areas for improvement, aligned with company objectives.
• Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the dress code policy.

Control Expenses

• Protect company assets within the guidelines of LIDS retail policies.
• Assist in preparing store schedules that ensure proper coverage and adhere to wage control policies.
• Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, updating prices, and conducting product counts, following all policies.
• Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping per company policies and legal requirements.
• Open and close the store as required, following procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
• Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Additional Principles, Duties, and Responsibilities

Supervise Associates

• Participate in training programs, set goals for sales and tasks, and conduct regular follow-ups.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with company policies, including inventory security, funds, and property management.
• Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
• Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to generate sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in operating a computer and relevant software programs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
• Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
