Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, able to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store records including payroll and cash handling.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and overall promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
