Maverik is seeking an Assistant Manager (Operations) to help lead the store team and daily operations across Food Service and Front-of-Store. You will coach Team Members, maintain service standards, and drive a culture of accountability while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires 21+ eligibility, a willingness to work a flexible schedule, and a food safety certification. This full-time position offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Assistant Manager (Operations)

Starting pay: $18.50 - $20.50/hr.

Shift: This is a full-time opportunity. This position will be cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store.

• Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Engage effectively with Team Members and provide exceptional customer experiences through strong communication skills.
• Collected & Composed: Remain calm and collected under high-pressure situations while still delivering exceptional customer service.
• Effective Problem Solving: Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize and analyze an issue while creating effective solutions.
• Experience: 1 year+ of supervisory experience (preferred).
• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
