Job summary

Maverik is hiring an Assistant Manager (Operations) to lead a team and assist daily store operations. This full-time role involves coaching Team Members, ensuring exceptional customer service, and keeping both Food Service and Front-of-Store running smoothly around the clock.

Starting pay ranges from $17.95 to $19.95 per hour, with opportunities for growth, cross-training, and advancement within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• Flexible schedule due to 24/7 store operations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Engage effectively with Team Members and provide exceptional customer experiences through strong communication skills.
• Remain calm and composed under high-pressure situations while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize and analyze issues and create effective solutions.
• 1 year+ of supervisory experience (preferred).
• Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the state/local jurisdiction.

Assistant Manager (Operations)

Starting pay: $17.95/hr - $19.95/hr

Shift:

This is a full-time opportunity. This position will be cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
